Moon Girl: Coney Island Carnival of Death

“Claire Lune is a super powered princess with a magical moon stone that makes her ten times stronger, faster and smarter than any mortal. Her own homeland was destroyed by war and so she uses her special gifts to protect New York from danger as Moon Girl; the masked crime-fighter.”

And so begins Coney Island Carnival of Death, an astonishing adventure where Moon Girl faces the Buffoon, a former-engineer full of brilliant twisted gadgets. Written by Tony Trov & Johnny Zito and illustrated by Pablo Arias, this story is part of a new Moon Girl Anthology project, currently in production by South Fellini.

Trov and Zito are the masterminds behind the fantastic brand new version of Moon Girl. Previous adventures of Moon Girl are collected on a namesake graphic novel produced by South Fellini and published by Red 5 Comics (Atomic Robo); available on hard copy (Amazon, South Fellini) and digital version (ComicXology).

Moon Girl Anthology

I have started a new project with South Fellini, a production studio established by Tony Trov and Johnny Zito. The project consists in a brand new Moon Girl Anthology. Moon Girl is a lovely vigilante from 1950’s New York. You can follow her adventures on the namesake graphic novel published by Red 5 Comics (the same publishers of the wonderful Atomic Robo).

I am already drawing a six paged story written by Trov and Zito. I’ll bring The Buffoon to live, the coolest villain. Next Saturday, I’ll be sharing my character designs. If you are following me on twitter you may see some sneak peeks of the pages.

In FIC, He was sharing his stunning originals and his professional experience with fans and breaking-into-comics artists. I can honestly say he was extremely generous with his knowledge of the craft, saving nothing for himself when reviewing portfolios.

With Renato Guedes

Renato Guedes is a talented artist with expertise in dramatic perspectives. He is the artist responsible for the brand new Constantine (DC comics) Renato is one of the most well-known faces in Latin-American comic conventions. I have attended to three comic conventions and he’s been always there.

With James O'Barr

James O’Barr is the creator of the legendary character “The Crow”; one of the most popular indie graphical novels taken to the cinema in 1994. James' work is personal and extremely honest, and his fans love him because of that. He was very nice and polite when I spoke to him.

With Artur Suydam

Arthur Suydam is a living legend, best known by his fans as “The Zombie King”. He is responsible for the Marvel Zombies. He is a sort of genius; musician, Muay Thai trainer and have a great interest in culture and science. I must say, Arthur is one of the sweetest people I have ever known, extremely nice and generous.

With Augusto Caruso

Augusto Caruso is a dear friend, owner of “El Calabozo del Androide”, a comic store in San Luis, Argentina. Augusto is an artist himself and is one of the organizers of San Luis Comic Con, an important convention featuring the greatest Argentinian artists.

Hi, my name, as you surely have implied, is Pablo. I come from the Coffee Triangle zone in Colombia and I’m 32 years old. I have a PhD in Physics and my whole live I have made time for science and art. In 2009, I decided to become a professional artist. Since then, I have committed myself to this purpose and have always had my wife’s support. I currently live in Chile as a full-time artist.

In 2013, I Co-founded StoryDreamers Productions with Angélica Puerto Tello; my wife.
